Founded and curated by a group of activists and artists, the Creative Liberation Collective is grounded in the power of community and the transformative liberation of the creative process. We believe that artistic expression is an essential aspect of the human experience, one that transcends the various forms of discrimination and inequality embedded within social, political, economic, and cultural institutions.
We center the marginalized voices in our communities through groups, workshops and community events. We believe in the power of self-expression, emotional processing, collective healing and radical, unapologetic joy.
Our mission is to challenge all systems of oppression, transforming collective pain into collective power.

Decolonizing Non-Violent Communication: A Creative Processing Group will use Meenadchi’s workbook as a guide in a community setting. Guided by two Clinical Social Work Associates, the group will practice writing activities, incorporate art as a way of expression, process emotions through group learning, and provide a community space to share thoughts and listen to others’ experiences. All while building skills toward implementing non-violent communication in our lives and social relationships.
Participants of all skill levels are encouraged to join. There are no requirements to have a certain level of art or writing skill required; you only need supplies of your choice and an openness to see how you connect with materials and expression through writing.
A weekly virtual creative processing group designed for the backbone of our communities—healers, helpers, and caregivers. This group offers a safe, nurturing space for those who give so much of themselves to others. Through art, creativity, and meaningful connection, we’ll explore the unique challenges of caregiving, process emotional burnout, and rediscover the joy in your work and life.
Together, we’ll honor your experiences, heal with community, and build resilience—because you deserve the care you so freely give to others. No artistic experience is required—just bring your authentic self.
